Eventually there was a shout, and there it was, visible faintly through the mist. As you can see, we just about caught the annularity. The digicam was attached to the top bracket of the telescope, which should have provided a secure mounting ... unfortunately this first shot came out a little blurred, probably due to the inexpert operator (Chris) and his mounting panic as the Olympus SLR on the rear port started to misbehave at the worst possible time.... |
